EGETÜRK ELEVATOR SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
At Egetürk Elevator, with the innovative elevator and escalator technologies developed at our production centers based in Izmir and Russia, we add value not only to today's projects but also to the world of tomorrow. In all our operations carried out on a global scale, we consider efficient resource usage and minimizing our environmental footprint as our fundamental responsibility.
1. Energy Efficiency and Advanced Technology
-
Green Building Compliance: By using energy-efficient motors (VVVF) and smart standby modes in our new-generation elevator systems, we minimize energy consumption and directly contribute to international green building certification processes such as LEED and BREEAM.
-
Regenerative Systems: We invest in energy recovery technologies that convert the kinetic energy generated during elevator movement into electricity and feed it back into the building grid.
2. Sustainable Production and Resource Management
-
Minimum Carbon Footprint: We apply optimized engineering solutions across all logistics and manufacturing processes, from raw material procurement to shipment in our production facilities, to reduce carbon emissions.
-
Recyclable Materials: In our product designs and factory operations, we choose durable, environmentally safe materials with high recyclability at the end of their lifecycle.
3. Green Standards in Global Service and Maintenance
-
Sustainable Modernization: Instead of completely replacing old elevator systems, we extend their mechanical lifespan through our modernization and overhaul solutions, conserving resources by preventing waste generation.
-
Eco-Friendly Operations: Across our technical service network in 5 countries, we ensure that all maintenance chemicals and lubricants comply with international environmental standards (ISO 14001) and meticulously track our waste management.
4. Continuous Improvement and Future Vision In combating the climate crisis, we maintain full compliance with all local and international environmental regulations and shape our R&D efforts entirely around "eco-friendly mobility." We never compromise on our sustainable engineering approach to leave a cleaner environment for future generations.
